Montreal, Quebec — ‘Cafu’, a new mobile electric vehicle (EV) charging service has launched in Quebec, offering vehicle owners charging anywhere in the city of Montreal.
While the Montreal pilot only offers one vehicle, for now, Cafu hopes to expand the on-demand service throughout North America.
Cafu uses a Ford E-Transit van with a 140 kWh battery pack with fast-charging capabilities–using either a Tesla or CCs connector. Users book service through the app.
