Winnipeg-based Boyd Group Services Inc. marked a key milestone in its North American growth Tuesday, with Brian Kaner, President and Chief Executive Officer, ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate its recent listing on one of the world’s most influential capital markets.

While Boyd’s shares began trading on the NYSE prior to Feb. 10, the bell-ringing ceremony served as a public acknowledgement of the company’s transition to the exchange and its growing presence in the U.S. capital markets.

Company executives joined NYSE officials on the trading floor to open the day’s session, a ceremonial honour often reserved for organizations recognizing major corporate milestones, including new exchange listings and strategic achievements.

Boyd’s appearance at the NYSE reflects the company’s continued growth across its collision repair and glass service operations, reinforcing its position within a network that continues to outperform in both segments.

Boyd Group Services operates a broad network of automotive collision repair and related services across Canada and the United States. In Canada it does business under the Boyd Autobody & Glass and Assured Automotive brands, while its U.S. platform includes Gerber Collision & Glass and a suite of retail auto glass and claims services operations.

The NYSE event took place as the Dow Jones Industrial Average hovered near record levels in pre-market activity, underscoring a buoyant environment for equity listings.
