Call2Recycle, a not-for-profit Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO), is Canada’s leading organization for battery collection and recycling. It operates provincially-approved programs, helping Canadians safely and responsibly recycle batteries. This commitment extends to electric vehicles (EV) batteries as well.

Led by Canadian automotive manufacturers, Call2Recycle developed and administers the industry's first-of-its kind EV Battery Recovery program by collecting, transporting, and recycling eligible end-of-life batteries, including damaged, defective or recalled batteries across Canada. We work closely with automakers and recycling partners to develop full-circle EV battery solutions, supporting a stronger, cleaner, and more sustainable economy for Canada.
